Palmer Brunswick Custom

This was a Palmer Brunswick Original.

Someone removed the foil which would have read: "Brunswick Original". Also when reassembling the butt, the rings were not put back in the original order.

I believe Chris Tate presented information that a limited run of these were made by Palmer for Brunswick. They followed the current line of cues but contained subtle differences. Some foil simply read "Brunswick Custom", others read "Brunswick Custom" with "Original by Palmer" in a smaller font below, others were stamped "Brunswick Original", and there was another that read "Lord Brunswick".

The eBay cue sold for $550.

Just Look Around

This is the first one of this configuration I (almost) have come across, but Brunswick Customs do come-up now and then.

I wonder if someone removed the foil embossed Brunswick with the thought that it diminished the value of the stick. If so, they made a mistake. But I never understand why people remove the Palmer foil.

If this seller would have been happy with $550, I think he would have been better-off starting the auction at $550 and then wait to see what might have happened. Chances are it would have been bid-up.

I really like the red white and blue portion. It's too bad I missed this one. $550 seems cheap for a nice palmer.
