Ebay Ivory Policy

You've been warned...

I noticed a Tad cue on ebay the other day and the listing disappeared so I sent a message to the seller.

He said someone flagged him because his listing said the ferrules were "I***y".

If you read the policy it seems a pool cue with ivory ferrules would be OK. Maybe I am not reading it correctly but it says something about no more then 5% ivory. Most pool cues have less then a ounce of ivory inlay in the whole cue.

You missed the over a 100 years old part.
 
The eBay policy is stupid and unevenly enforced.

Many ivory pool balls are simply listed as "faux ivory" when clearly they are ivory.
