I got a divorce from pool last year, and now it's time that I split up our assets. I will be selling cues and various accessories. There is, however, something in my collection that I'm not going to sell. I'm actually going to give it away.

I'm not telling what it is. All I am looking for is someone that has a youngster in their life, who is a fan of pool, and can name a few female pros.

Please send me PMs with the story, or post a reply. I'll decide the winner by mid week.

I will want to get proof of my gift arriving to the youngster's hands, as I'll want a picture of them with it. I don't want to see this item end up for sale.

No stories as of yet. Maybe there's no interest in what I'm offering. It's a 3x6 Action soft cue case. That's all I'm saying. Would love it if it ended up in the hands of someone who is a fan of the female pro players, as it has a few autographs on it. Won't say who has signed it, but there are some big names on it.
 
My wife is just starting out and hates the case I got her...She likes watching the women pros but I dont know if that qualifies.

I've found new things in life worth pursuing. I decided to get healthy over a year ago, dropping 35 lbs. I started doing more physical activities, like running, cycling, working out, and playing a few sports. Being a father of two boys, and having a career, something had to give. I like who I am now, more than I liked who I was when I was playing pool. I may make a comeback to league in the not so near future, but I haven't even chalked a cue in over a year, and I really don't miss it. Some days, yes. Most days, no.

Anything qualifies. I'm making the decision by Friday, so that I can box it up and send it to the winner next week. Keep the requests coming. And I shouldn't exclude the men from this. Anyone who needs, and would appreciate a case can post their story. I want it to go to a good home.

what you're doing is killer! PAY IT FORWARD.

while we do not need anything, it's the stuff you get for FREE that counts AND THE STORY BEHIND IT. so i'm going to throw my 13yr old son in the Canadian Hat, this time.

he was 3. we were vacationing @ Montana. i stood him on a dining chair @ the table. wrapped myself behind him. Moose overhead from fireplace. and threw a cue instride.... left-handed.

everyone knows him @ BreakTime. and the men have been fantastic for years, trying to coach his hard-headed game. but they LOVE it when he plays the jukebox (cause i raised him right).

i've collected autographs of almost all Pros for him - i couldn't take him to last Mosconi for his birthday. he's now the proud possessor of Michaela's GLOVES. and Niels's winning Mosconi chalk.

he knows EXACTLY, who The Black Widow and Jennifer Barretta are - and has Jennifer's cover page on his wall.

his cue is Scorpion. case is gray, and cheap....cause it's all that Santa could find last minute in gray.

Ok...spoiler alert - Dan has shown the picture of the case. Just so you know, the cues were his, as he borrowed the case to go to Vegas. So those cues aren't coming with the case. And the Mario keychain was his as well. You can pretty much read the Karen Corr autograph. There's a bunch more on it.

The story about the case - Dan and I went to Seneca Casino in NY a few years back. We entered the Pro Am Scotch event hosted by the WPBA. We ended up partnered up with 2 fellow Canadians, and Monica Webb. We won the event. Anyways, I had my soft case with me, and had it autographed by:

Keep the stories coming. I've heard a bunch of good ones.
 
Shawn...I would like to withdraw...My wife and I can go pick out a case that she wants...Hopefully you make some youngsters day with that case!

Shawn although I understand why you re taking a break for the game. I must say, that although I dont know you, this game needs more people like you involved.

I have a 7 y.o daugher who I d like to see her involved in pool in the future (she hs no intrest as of now) so I am not throwing any hat in the ring. Just wanna say I appreciate what you re doing Thanks SK
