But i do know a troll when i read one. No feed zone....

Thomas is alot of things, including a hall of fame cuemaker....I wouldn't say he is a troll, he just tells it like he sees it.

From what I now about him, he doesn't bullshit anybody and you would be wise to listen.

Your opinion about this being the "only lathe you'll ever need" is very far from being accurate, especially considering you admit to knowing nothing. Maybe is was meant sarcastically, but I don't see much use for it either.

So i'm done with this, lathe will be repaired, and kept for my own shaft work.

Silly me for trying to give a lathe to a young,new, repair person for no profit.
