I have a fixture for gluing up point wood into veneers. It's aluminum. It's 11-7/8" long by 1-1/4" wide. There is a small nick on one end but doesn't affect the use of it.
SOLDshipped to the 50 states. First to post here in the thread that wants it, gets it. Please no PM's.
Thanks,
Dave

I just checked this thread to mark it sold, and realized there may be some confusion. I only was selling one, as that is all I have. I didn't make it either, I bought it from another cuemaker here. I can check with a machinist friend and see what it would cost to make some, but I only see him once in a awhile.
I'll post in a separate thread if I decide to have some made.
Thanks,
Dave

I was the original one who developed and build this jig. It is copyrighted and I would appreciate it not being knocked off. The price is $75.00 ea. shipped. If I could get orders for at least 10 of them I would run some of them.

If everyone who wants one would send me a PM it would be a good start to getting them build.

When did you start making these ???

Inquiring minds want to know.

Pete,
Please accept my apologies. Was NOT aware of this being copyrighted. Usually that is stamped or printed on the item somewhere. When I bought this one from you a couple years ago, you sold it here on the forum and it wasn't mentioned as a patented item or one that was in production.
Again, my apologies for my confusion.

I first build some out of maple for my own use in 2004. Built the aluminum version in 2006 than decided in 2008 to offer them to other cue makers. The original AZ thread was posted in June 2008.

No doubt Pete is a clever cookie.
But 4 way Vee blocks have been used by toolmakers for a great many years.
Pete has seen or thought of an opportunity and made one for his needs.
I am not sure on the legal side of what he has made, as shorter 4 way blocks have been round for a very long time.
But just copying someone else's work and flogging it off is just not right.
I am glad that reason has been seen. It would be good for the 2 involved to get together and offer it for sale for those who want to buy one.
Clearly if you are set up to make points you can set to and make one from what ever, but the time for a one off versus a mass produced is item is a totally different storey.
There are lots of ways of making things ,
Neil

Just to clarify before this gets out of hand......when I bought this one from Pete, He didn't state that he made it. I really thought he had bought this from a tool supplier, as Neil has pointed out, these have been around for a very long time. My Dad made one when he was in a night school machining class as a class project about 25 years ago. I simply resold the one I bought from him. Others expressed interest and some assumed I made it. Please reread my above post. I thought it may be something I could provide as, to my knowledge, no one else was providing these. I never intended to 'copy' nor cheat Pete and I do not appreciate any stated or implied statements by anyone saying otherwise.
I also would have liked Pete to have PM'ed me about this and explain things, and I would have apologized and posted the info and directed interested people to him and his site. Instead he plops it into this thread and another and has tried to made me look like a thief.
I do ask if he wants to sell his product, I would really appreciate he edit his post to redirect people to a thread in which he is selling his 'patented' tool.
That's all I have to say on this ands wish Pete well on his sales.
Thanks,
Dave

Isn't this the same thing but longer. I bet these have been around more than 10 years.
