Just heard of this league in a previous post. The website....www.gppaleagues.com ....appears to be down or unavailable. Does anyone have more info or other ways to research the league format and rules? Sounds interesting.

Almost 120 views and no responses. Since the website is down, and nobody seems to know anything, does this mean it is shut down? Just looking for info on the league.
The league started playing this week IIRC so the website is probably having some issues. Here is another GPPA link that works showing the rules & also has a download for the rules in PDF format.

We just had our first GPPA meeting and several teams were formed.
I'm up in the air about joining at this point. The rules are pretty.....different. I'd advise everyone to read the entire rule-set VERY carefully.

I did. VERY different. It reminds me of some pro 9 ball tournaments I watched where every single miss was punished with ball in hand to the opponent. Doesn't sound like pool to me. But....I would have to try it first before condoning or condemning the league.
