Best Buddy Video

I've become a big fan of Buddy Hall's playing and have been watching youtube videos, but I'm interested in possibly buying a good video from accu stats. Any recommendations on the best Buddy videos available?

Thank you in advance!

One of the best Accu-Stats videos with Buddy is actually a match he didn't win. It was one of the Sands Regency tournaments, and Buddy was playing Earl (I think it was the semifinals).

It was a race to 11, and Buddy was playing flawless pool, moving the cueball around the table with perfect precision, and controlling the match. Up 9-5, Buddy broke the balls very solidly in game 15, but nothing fell.

Buddy had played perfect pool, and yet the next time he came to the table he was hooked behind three balls, and down 10-9, as Earl had run the last five racks. As Buddy came to the table he asked, almost in exasperation, "What did I do to deserve this?" Buddy almost made a fantastic kick, bending the cueball off the cushion with extreme draw, but just missed hitting the object ball. Earl took BIH and ran out to win the match. An incredible match from both players.

I just looked through the Accu-Stats catalog. There are a lot of Buddy matches, but the only one with Earl is from the 2001 US Open. Perhaps they no longer sell the Sands match. However there are various Sands matches in the catalog.

Having seen Buddy Hall play for the cash in the 70s, I've seen nothing on
tape that was within the 8 of how well he played.

The Buddy that gave Louie Roberts the 7 had a steady high-level game
that was devastating over a long session.
Louie, like Earl, could have SPURTS of brilliance, but Buddy could LIVE at a
higher level...he wasn't just a visitor like most great players were.

my opinion, of course

How many players can say they went years without anyone wanting to gamble with them?
