hi guys and gals , what kind of price difference is it from shipping a whole stick( around 30 bucks ) vs just a shaft?

How many cues are you trying to ship!?

A single cue via usps for me costs around $10~$15.

Shipping, via USPS, is weight dependent. The location is also a factor, shipping to CA is more expensive than shipping to NY. You can also add insurance, tracking, receipt of delivery that are extras and add cost.

Another thing to look at is how fast you want the package to arrive at it's destination. The faster the service, the more expensive the shipping.

Generally speaking, a shaft shipped priority and insured to most places should cost less than the entire cue since the weight will be more and you probably want to insure it and add tracking.

Check out the USPS web site for additional information and options. So long as you have basic information like the total weight of the package you are shipping and know where it is to be shipped, you should have a good idea of the cost.

Since you have a computer, you can go to the USPS website and look it up.

For a single shaft it should be one pound. For a full cue should be 2 pounds.

Is anything for sale here...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you print your own label it would be around $5.50 for just a shaft and
$9 for just a whole cue.

thanks for the comments , I figured you guys that have done this a bunch would have a more accurate estimate than the ups webpage because of hidden addons sometimes.

I always insure cues, so typically for USPS it is around $20, and for a shaft only, let me look I just shipped one...

$6.00 to ship a shaft from Denver to Indiana, USPS Priority
