I am a casual player and only play in a local league and am debating about buying a new shaft for my Viking cue. Is there any suggestions on what to go for?

Thanks

We have several shafts in our lineup currently. Vpro, ViKORE (LD) , eXactSHOT (LD) and V-Crush (break) All of them excellent choices and no warp warranty down to 11.75mm.! Get in touch with your local Viking dealer or contact us directly on the web to go through options! thanks for Choosing Viking!

SS360 shaft

I recommend you buy a SS360 shaft from Bob Danielson ( BD CUES ) .
I'm in Vegas for the BCA nationals and at the vendor booth,s I tried all sorts of shafts .

Edge hybrid from Jacoby , OB shafts , Viking shafts , tiger shafts , predator shafts .
Well my SS360 shaft outperformance them all , the edge hybrid is the second best from the ones I tried here .
And the SS360 is also the cheapest of them all !!!

Buy one and you will love it .

What kind of shaft do you currently have on your Viking? And just curious, which Viking do you have?

Unless you are using a dead straight stroke, just try a different tip. And exactly what are you looking to do? Is your current shaft warped or making funny noises when you play?

You're going to get as many answers as there is people on the forum. The only way to test this without spending thousand is to borrow cues from fellow players.
