I made those cues right here in Colorado, by hand, with a hand saw and a chisel
The wood came from tree's that I cut down myself down in Pine Valley, just outside of Conifer.

Did you "thump" the trees first, like people do a watermelon at the grocery store.

Thumping the melon is not the proven method.
I'm not talking about common wood like Brazilian rosewood, ebony, and cocobolo.
This is real pine baby, and not that Evergreen stuff in my back yard.
I traveled upwards to 20-miles to find this pine, which is actually pine burl.
