I'm always reading threads, especially in the for sale forum. I read to know how to sell or how to buy. Watching and making notes of who to buy from and who not to.
I always find a buyer that didn't do anything wrong but push the (PAY) button and get screwed. That's terrible all by it self.

He just wanted to buy an item and did what a buyer is suppose to do, BUY IT.
I became part of this AZ group to buy from a closer knit organization. I thought people on here would be more helpful when deals go sour. Not say things you wouldn't say face to face.
I'm really sorry for what's going on with the communication between you guys. And I hope everything works out properly.
Just my 2 cents, sorry if I'm out of line.

Nobody accused you of anything other than poor communication before this reply of yours so why be so negative?
The thing that is a bit unsettling is that you had 2 people who looked to have agreed to buy your cue. One of those actually paid you while the other was promising payment as soon as funds cleared. That kind of thing does not routinely happen here so yes...alert level was raised to yellow.
There have been some people getting ripped off here recently so maybe we are all extra cautious.
Just a suggestion so do with it what you will......contact pookster via pm, let him know when or if the cue has shipped, give him shipping/tracking info and his worries vanish.
If you have not shipped yet, then just be clear as to when you plan on shipping.
If you have not shipped and he says to please just refund him his money....do it. You already have a back up buyer so you are out nothing but a little time and you, pookster and your back up buyer are all happy or at the very least back to good.
Again....right now, nobody here thinks you are ripping anyone off so why not bring assurance to the community that you are a stand up seller?

So are you going to send him the cue or not? That is the question here. All you have done to clear this up is chime on here and say pookster is lying. He paid and wants a cue or his money back. It is starting to seen a little weird that you haven't addressed the issue here.

The seller never said he wasn't paid. We have multiple members try to buy same item all the time. I have had multiple payments before.
Pookster has slammed him continually in this and another thread. If it were me I would not kick the sleeping bear. YOU paid as a gift which was the first mistake . Calling him a thief was the second. You have been trashing him for days. I would let you sweat too.
Can you show proof of payment or a PM agreeing to the sale? Maybe you are working a scam? See how easy it is sling mud?

I'll tell you what....if I bought a cue from someone and had great communication BEFORE payment and then nothing afterwards I'd be concerned.
If I also saw someone else posting in the thread AFTER I already paid for the cue that payment would go through after clearing paypal, I'd be even more concerned.
If the seller's only replies AFTER all of this did not include something along the lines of the following key information, I'd be pissed and extremely concerned:
Yes, we have a deal pookster
Yes, I received your payment pookster
Yes, the cue has shipped and here is the tracking info pookster
No, the cue has not shipped yet but here is when it will ship pookster
No, the cue has not shipped and since this has turned sour here is your refund pookster
Without this kind of communication (which is quite easy to give) would you still be okie-dokie and warm and fuzzy about the deal? If so then by all means buy a cue from me and we'll go about it the same way.....then get back to us with how happy you are with it.

At this point, if it were me I wouldn't even want the dang cue behind door number 3,,, I would just want my cash back,,, which should be no problem considering that stick is (should be) easily worth more than 200.

Send the man what he paid for and address this after! What are you waiting for? This is classic cause and effect. None of this would have happened if you shipped the cue after you accepted the paypal.
