Billiard Chalk collecors' thread....let's trade!

chalk sale on ebay

Seems like someone on Ebay is slowly selling off his collection of chalks. Wondering whether the person is from AZB.

I have sold only one item ever on ebay, one single piece of Passow square years ago.... seller said that if I sold one on ebay for him, he would charge me 75% of the selling price for his other pieces, so I did that.
I will be glad to sell pieces but the money would go to someone in need who needs the money....I do not, and this is not a business for me. Let me know if you want to buy some pieces, I ship in advance of payment based on your feedback, and you remit payment to the needy person. I never touch money except from my job. See anything you like? Raising money now for a woman who needs a lawn mower badly, hers died.

Super Fine

Never seen before by any collectors I know, until these pieces showed up. Got a couple extra, let's trade!

Don't have any to trade... Another very rare chalk. I had seen this version in an old catalog, never seen until now. Nice find.

One sale away

I'm about one sale away from having a needy person on her feet and working. Thanks buyers!

I am not sure how rare or vintage my spare chalks are but I doubt they are. Will post pictures soon.

BBC "Sanitary" chalk, celluloid case

The Spinks version is identical, and I suspect Spinks made these for Brunswick. Extremely rare.

These are my spares. I believe they're not rare or vintage to begin with. Let me know if anyone of you are interested. I'm from Asia side so shipping is gonna be a b!tch.

Chalk shipping

When the US collectors trade, we just assume shipping to each other is equal, so we don't bother charging it to each other.
As far as my sales go, someone asked me how he knows I am really helping others with the proceeds. Well, my positive feedback shows that I am truthful, as the buyer could always be asked where he sent money. Otherwise, I am fine with a buyer writing a money order to the Salvation Army, an excellent charity. But if I trade, then certainly I benefit. Chalk if the first billiard collectible antique item I ever found....although I didn't consider myself a chalk collector, my collection grew so much that I have to consider myself that. So I have been spending more on the super-rare stuff lately, as it can only enhance my collection. I shouldn't sell the rare stuff, or I won't have anything to trade. So I keep one extra of many chalks.

25 pieces of collectible chalk for $250

there are 5 pieces that together are worth the $250, so it's like getting the rest free. The upside-down Brunswick Monarch is the type that came in the box with a lion on it, from about 1900-1902 catalogs.

How can you beat free shipping? Free duplicate chalks

The white chalk in this collection is probably the earliest known chalk that has been found in modern times....it is a museum piece that should be worth hundreds by itself, but I found a packet of 12 and some singles, including one sold with this $250 lot.
The Willie Mosconi isn't rare, but it is the first billiard collectible I ever found....down in an old coin-op table in college. The dorm guys couldn't afford beer and chalk both, so I got out my mechanic's grabber and a flashlight and pulled out a whole batch from the cavernous recesses, and out came a Mosconi chalk. PM me if you would like to buy this collection, and I will throw in a few duplicate pieces so you can start trading with other collectors.

Last 2 of 25 chalk group

These are the last 2 chalks in the group. Free shipping and a few duplicates for trading. Act now, someone will get these! My feedback is there to see. If not buying or trading, enjoy the photos. Have a great weekend guys. And remember, the working man has been turned into a sucker by this administration and their immoral ilk. Time to start helping out truly deserving folks, and exposing the undeserving. Times are tough, brothers!
