Forfeits in the Grandmasters

Four out of six matches in the second round of the one-loss side in the Grandmasters division were forfeits. That seems awfully high for one round. Was the time changed?

Or the players were not into the match and decided sleeping was more fun. Could also have been a conflict if another tournament match happened to be at the same time.

I believe the only one in another tournament was McKinney, and as I understand it you can't forfeit out of a tournament if you're in scotch.
