What are members experiences with the time-frame in ordering a JB Case?

I ask because I have had a difficult time communicating with JB Cases and can't get any answer. I ordered a Rugged Case which is not tooled.

I'm not looking for reviews of the cases just owner's experiences on simple straightforward orders.

I ordered 2 custom ruggeds this year and got them both in 2 weeks.

I think he's a little backed up at the moment from the last show.

He's pretty easy to reach on facebook.

I talked to John in Vegas at the BCAPL event. I asked him his current time frame for a custom case and he told me about 10 weeks. And this was on the first day of the event.

If you want a standard Rugged or Ultimate Rugged you can order those from Seybert's and have it in days.

I have a question too. I ordered a rugged case on 8/9. I wanted an ultimate rugged case, but didn't see that option on the form - so I added that to the notes box at the bottom of the form. I haven't heard anything back yet. I did get an auto reply email back acknowledging my order - but that still leaves my question.

Why not just go to Seyberts.com and order one, and you'll have it in 3 days, maybe less.

Thanks for all the responses.

I need to special order a case because I need a case longer than 31.5". I called Seybert's but they can't or won't special order a case from JB.

Regarding the "Ultimate", I could be overlooking it, but I don't see any reference to the Ultimate Rugged on the JB website.

ive ordered 2 cases from him both being customized and leather..one having tooling..within past 2 yrs...it was easy and smooth for me..karen is very easy to communicate with..they may be backed up but for the 2 cases ive ordered..they arrived quickly..3-4 weeks from start of case to arriving at my door..id highly recommend one but thats just my.opinion

I also found Karen very responsive over email. My Rugged with custom pocket arrived in 3 weeks. That was a few months ago.

And John will be the first to admit this... Keep Karen's address handy so you can pass it on... John and email go together about as well as... Well... John and Lou =)
