Tactical Cue Case

Looks like this case is going to happen. I placed the order with JB today.

The idea is a butterfly style case like this one that Paxman posted.

Instead of black it will be ACU Digital camo with green webbing. It'll have one large pocket centered on the front and PALS webbing on either side for attachment of various MOLLE pouches as I see fit. I'll let you all know how it goes. Thanks for the help along the way.

I love that case. I would also buy that in black. JB, you hit that one out of the park.

Now, how much?

I guess if I had a cue case like this I'd have to make sure I was grabbing the right bag on the way out the door. It would be a bit embarrassing to pull out a pool cue at the range and a bit frightening to pull out an AR at the pool hall.

You could definitely shoot some pool though!

That case gives the wild 5 to any of that Justis style crap, and it doesn't weigh 10 lb's. He will sell as many of those cases as they can make. If you can, what was the price range on that case? I want one right now.

If you'd like to know the price I paid, shoot me a PM. I don't like talking that sort of thing in public. Its the only one of its kind and I have no idea what JB would charge if he made more so I don't want to publicly state a price.

I have thought about something similar. Should be pretty easy for Barton to make. A nice tactical tan or multicam cue case would be something different. Slap on some velcro for patches, a little molle to attach a pouch or two.

If you want get nutty you could attach the strap with cobra buckles.

I really like your velcro idea in 2x4 multicam case.

If john made this I would buy one in a heart beat. I have been in the Army 12 years now and it would be cool to put all my old unit patches and ranks on the case.

Say it ain't so , maybe I'm just to patriotic but I would die and go to hell before I stuck my American military patches on a Chinese pool case

Seriously? In the current global economy? By the way many of our Military uniforms are made by federal prisoners getting paid less than $2 an hour because our own government refuses to pay a decent wage to have them made. You put your patches on those?

On that note, I have to remember to take my cues out of my wife's Mexican made Ford and put them in the trunk of my American made Toyota before I go shoot tonight.

Well, for one the transition to prisoner made uniforms took the jobs from hard working citizens and moved them to a lower wage scale for the sole purpose of saving money. Exactly the same thing as outsourcing those jobs to overseas. If the US government could have moved the manufacturing of our uniforms overseas, they would have, but it was made illegal to do so during WWII with the Berry Amendment.

And no, not 23 or an Obama supporter. That is just showing your own prejudice.

The truth is that there is very little that is still 100% made in America. American companies are manufacturing their products overseas, or buying foreign parts and assembling them here to be called "American Made." The world is changing. Such is life.

Oh, and it is you're, not your. American english grammar and all.

Most would call that a smart business decision , aside from that it gives them some training that gives them a better chance of getting a job once on the outside win win in my book and it's great that at least someone stood up and saw the wrong in having some things made outside the USA ,,

To bad so few of those people left in this country

I would say if you stand up and turn 360 degrees 90% of what you see in the room came from China in one way shape or form. Nothing worse then contrived phony patriotism. I also don't expect to see you posting here any more since almost every part of the computer you are using was made over seas by cheap labor.

For the same reason you don't see them working along the roadways anymore. It takes jobs away from regular people. There was a time they farmed out prisoners to factories and paid them nothing.

They just kicked back money to the wardens for the free labor. When they do pay prisoners they make around .15 cents an hour. Just enough to buy a few things in the prison store.

I have no idea what you do for a living but how would you like to be replaced by someone making .15 cents an hour.

I would buy that case in a heartbeat. The only thing I don't like about it is the carry strap, and having to un-velcro it to unzip the cue compartment. I would drop that carry strap, and add backpack straps to it. Got a real winner there.

Great. Thanks a lot. Now my wife is going to yell at me because I need yet another case. I completely place the blame on BeachBum. I would blame Barton as well but he is not around to defend himself.
