I have decided to go ahead and sell this cue. I do not have an interest in playing but I am not desperate to let it go quickly either.
I haven't stepped in a pool hall for years and I don't see myself even playing recreationally either.

Details:
AS-3
Delrin Buttcap
Ebony vs Cocobola
5/16-14 Stainless Steel joint
Linen wrap
Ivory ovals

Thanks to everyone for their input and to Tony for his input as well. This is a solid cue for anyone who wants a quality stick, but it's been sitting in my closet for 6 or 7 years now except when I took it out to take these pics.
I will include the case free because the case itself is in mediocre shape.

Going by the pictures, that is a Delrin (plastic) buttcap, irish linen wrap, and the oval inlays in the points are ivory. Hope this helps!

Black boar

That's an AS-3 model, from Tonys 1992 catalogue cues. The butt cap is delrin, linen wrap, ivory oval, but veneers are not ivory, and stainless steel 5/16-14 joint. The AS-3's also only came with 1 shaft so 1 of these shafts are probably not original. Nice cue tho, they usually bring close to 3k.

What he said is pretty spot on as I have this exact same cue except the wrap is leather (Do not believe Tony installed the leather wrap) and the cue is ebony vs cocobola. It has two BB shafts (one original to the cue). It has been my player since I acquired it from the 2014 SBE and I love the way it plays. You may want to think twice about selling it since you may still be playing recreationally as I do for the most part now and you still will want a good cue to shoot with (my opinion only).

Thanks for sharing...

Value is going to depend a lot on the condition of the cue, and if the shafts are original or even Black Boar shafts at all.

I got off the phone with Black Boar also which said what everyone else said here...I did send them pics even with the dings.. one shaft is still the original shaft that came with it. I love the way it plays and I've owned schon, viking, and a couple others but this has been the best.

There's 3 small dings in it, I do have pictures of them, but it's still in great condition overall.
Thanks everyone for the input, lots to consider

I already posted in the ebay forums because it's still for sale... you can bid on it on ebay or send me an offer, I cannot accept anything less than 2k
