Hi,
I wanted to get an joint extension made for a Cognoscenti cue, does anyone know the thread size of the Cognoscenti cues?

thanks in advance.

Its a "modified" 7/16x11... I think Joe is the only one that has that pin... they're special made for him.. You may have to go to him for the extension..

Can't give out his number but...

...I've left a VM for him about the same subject since I too would like to get an Extension for mine. But I would prefer one on the Butt cap end just for long shots. I will ask him if I can give you his number when I talk to him. And I will find out if he has any suggestions.

I have a feeling, knowing Joe, that he's not going to be in favor of using an extension in between the butt and shaft since it would kind of take away from the unique feel of a Cognoscenti Cue.

He's only made 1.. For my cue. I really like it. Call him. He'll probably make you one

Question, did he make it new when the cue was made or did you order it after you already had the cue?

Reason I ask is it looks like the wood matches and so I wonder if he needs the cue in his hands to match everything up??

Thanks..

Awesome..

How did it affect the Cog "feel"?

Well you're adding more hardwood before the shaft so the feel is a tad more firm but then again my extension is 4"... I'm used to it and love it... 3 to 3.25 inch may be less firm but like I said I love it

He made it after and it's perfect... As long as you haven't refinished the cue it should match like mine. If your cue is an older cue, get some calipers and measure the very end of the butts joint with some calipers and let joe know that measurement. It's most likely not ness essay because Joe hasn't changed hit mesurements in who knows how long... You'll probably be good without doing that though... Here's his shop # 1-773-348-7154... Tell him Timmy (Skins/AZ) sent you... Check out this link
