I must be missing something. I looked up Biado's earnings for the last 4 years and he has won a grand total of 1 local California tournament (a couple of years ago). Appleton for example has 5 times the earnings this year and last year. Where is the missing information that makes him number 1 in the world?
How does he get ranked above Appleton?

First, the points drop off a lot more slowly than the money, from first place down. Second, the WCs carry the most points. Biado has a 2nd and a 5th in the W10C and W9C. Also 3rd in China Open.

The Chinese 8-ball that Appleton won paid the most money, but not the most points. If that tourney was awarded points commensurate to the WCs, he would be ranked number 1.

Congrats Well done, Biado
Aside from US Open which Biado did not take part I think, Biado has done much better than Orcullo in W9B, W10B and other majors.
Anyone know what is Biado v Orcullo H2H record?
.:D

Dennis has been off this yr. Look at previous yrs, the only player with a better track record is Shane and dazz is comparable.
