Dvd /book advice

if you were to advise a newer player
what books or dvds should he study to understand the great discipline of 14.1

Capelle: Play your best straight pool

Those are probably best ones for books what i recall similar threads.
i have only That Capelles book and that is OK, but there is some minor stuff i disagree with author.
For beginner player i think it is great book.

instructional video can be found easy with search function. Many threads for that.

Without a doubt it would be Pat Fleming's Accustat 4 dvd set on straight spool.
