Anyone have autographs on your shaft (insert joke here)? Do you play with that shaft or do you have a non playing shaft you get signed?

I had my first predator shaft(retired) signed by SVB, but one day I was listening to one of his TAR podcast things and he made a comment I didn't care for! Then one day I went and opened the case the shaft was in to check on contents and while looking at the signed shaft, I remembered that comment he made and decided to erase it!

Agreed. The only signatures from players I have were all signed on to an official event t-shirt with a Sharpie paint pen.

What did you do with your Dechaine signature then ?
:wink:I don't have any signatures myself, but my son had a house cue that we take around to events and that has collected a ton of signatures.
Coolest thing about that house cue is that he used it to win a league finals in a pool room where he started playing in that shut down when he was maybe 10 or 11. He won, the owner signed it "To the CHAMP Alex" and gave it to him.
Same place I met liakos in actually, Chalks in RI.
It has about 15 signatures now and looking to get more as SBE when we are there.
I'd stay the signatures should go on the butt or maybe some cheaper cueballs to sign. A cueball is more of a standard signature thing, plus is cheaper than having a shaft for each signature. Maybe get some smaller novely balls and keep a couple in the case. I found a white 8 ball that would be great for signatues http://www.seyberts.com/products/Aramith_White_8_Ball-103987-217.html looks neater than just a plain cue ball.

He said it in the way that he wanted to have a real PRO tour, high entry fees, only the top players. I think it was on a TAR podcast, I'm pretty sure he was not against tournaments with players like us in general.
He was talking about $1,000 entry fees and up for those pro events, not the $3-500 or so the big tournaments do.
I agree, but the only way to get to that is to get more people included, not excluded! The only way to get the high entry fees is to get money IN the sport. Comments like that make people like me shy away from wasting my money getting in those tourneys! I think I've been in maybe 3 tourneys since, only because hey, if those upper echelon players don't want C players like me in them, then no prob
