I just had a lesson with Scott Lee and it was well worth the time and money. Scott reviews a long list of topics with you to see what you are doing right and what you can improve. He is very flexible in showing different ways of doing things and helping you choose what works best for you. For example, he helps you make sure your stance is strong and balanced and permits the free movement of the cue, but beyond that he doesn't insist on particular placement of your feet, open vs. less open stance, particular bridge length, etc. - you determine what works for you. He does believe strongly in a pendulum stroke without dropping your elbow as a cornerstone for a strong game.
As others have reported, Scott is easy to work with and stays beyond your allotted time to make sure you get through everything he planned to teach.
My perspective is I played a lot a long time ago, I didn't play for a couple of decades, and I am now trying to improve my game after a couple of years of on and off playing. My objectives were to have a stroke tune-up and identify some things to work on to improve my game, and they were met. He videos the lesson so you have DVDs and written materials for post-lesson reference.
