As much as you have tried CJ, there has been no human being any more obnoxious, misleading and self-centered, than this guy !..This is obvious, to anyone who can read !..This diminutive, (ie; dwarf) is convinced that he is "an imposing personna" and strikes 'fear', in his opponents !

The fact is, his ONLY exposure, lies is in a game that has been dead for 60 years, or more !..He keeps trying to post about his exploits, on a forum focusing on one pocket, (probably his weakest game !) and, most of the guys on that forum, have let him know that his overbearing BS, borders on the insane, much less remotely believable ! :confused:

I invite anyone to read his latest offering, and tell me this is in any way, the blathering of a 'normal' individual ?..:eek:..And CJ, let me say. if you want to improve on your bragging and exposure, this would NOT be your "go to'" guy ! :rolleyes:

In the upper left corner is a link that says forums. That works but once you are there you don't know where to look for the post referred to.

Never mind I found it. I went to members list found CJ and clicked on his postings. Never mind again. He must have a different screen name now. The most recent postion under CJ is 2 years old.

In reality you might be the ridiculous one for obsessing enough to create a thread about it. Don't like what he posts, put him on ignore, problem solved!

That's because there is not. It's a well written article on the "winning attitude". And yeah, he was a great 3 cushion player, one of the best American 3-cushion players, and having several records that may take decades to break, but the winning attitude is still needed in all billiard games.

Thus why lots of sports players read the "Inner Game of Tennis" even though they never played tennis. Like most sports, the mental part is not always so easy to overcome.

So, here are some tidbits from a former champion, instructor and author to his friends on 1P.org. How horrible that he is sharing this info, maybe a good hard kick to the nuts should make him stop helping billiard folks like us ;)
 
Here it is. You can judge for yourself.

There are also MANY very good players that are afraid to take off BIG scores! They have a limit that they can perform at, once they step over that threshold the 'F factor,' (fear) comes into play, you can see it in their eyes and stroke! They look like a deer in the headlights and their stroke becomes as weak and soft as a piece of over cooked pasta! By then, you can stick a fork in them, their ALL done!

BTW, when I know for sure the player has this weakness, I calculate that factor in when handicapping a game with them, so they feel I'm over spotting them!

When I am at the table with a 'player,' I let them know immediately I mean business! I have a very intimidating persona of confidence and eagerness to WIN! Racing to the table to play my shot, NO matter how difficult the position appears to be, with the look of a TOTAL player! While sitting in my chair, I'm already visualizing the position of the balls on the table, if my opponent misses His intended shot, having an 80% idea of how exactly I'm going to play my 'first' shot! I rarely speak to my opponent, reluctant to acknowledge a good shot! I'm fair, but, probably one of the MOST difficult players to play, an EXTREMELY aggressive persona!

When stalling, playing weaker players, I can look like I barely know what I'm doing but, results in spurts happen! There are even certain, 'Kiss' shots I play in a game if they arise where it looks like I got lucky, AGAIN! I'll say it again 3 Cushion is the BEST game of ALL the cue games to stall and WIN! The plays are fewer obviously then in Pool, but, when I do take one off, I make the MOST of it!

P.S. IMHO, the 3 BEST one pocket players in 'South Florida' are, Jerry Calderon, Little Anthony and Rob Melrose! Rob and Little Anthony have the qualities of REAL WINNER'S playing Pool, Jerry gets a defeatist attitude very quickly when playing, when things don't go His way!

The message (I assume) is the arrogance shown by 3-cushion, and by extension, CJ.
Dick's a hard one to figure out, sometimes, and I'm not sure I've got this one right. :)

Post like his just makes me laugh. Only someone who lacks confidence and are detached from reality spouts off like that.

Not at all Mr. Rose..The guy 'lives' under the bus !..Several people have managed to find the exact post I was referring to !..To those of you, (Chi.RJ, yourself, and others) who could not process the words of someone grossly obsessed with 'his own' importance, I can only feel sorry for you !..Stop in at 1P.org occasionally..and you will see how he manages to upset everyone, with his constant boasting, and senseless rhetoric ! :eek

Perhaps I have misjudged the 'numbing' effect, our resident braggart has had, on your ability to reason for yourselves Mr. Rose !..In the future, I shall not bother pointing out such obvious shortcomings, (ie; pure verbal garbage) again !..I will just feel sorry for you, and let you wallow in your own ignorance ! :(

In this tournament they had a 'private' blind draw on Friday evening when they found out I was entered! When I and my mentor show up Saturday, I'm in a 'Prelim' bracket with the toughest players other than George in the field! Some guys did, 'Biz' in order to keep me out of the Finals, disappointing to say the least! When I was done with that tourney, Ernie told me, "You know you play better than they ALL do, from now on do what ever it takes to NOT lose a game!" 'This way, they can never try to Fukk you again!"

From then on, I decided to be the MOST serious intended player ever at the table! What ever the situation in the game I had to try and find a way to pull it out, and 98% of the time I did! Also, I must add, many years ago, I borrowed a book from Freddy entitled, 'Winning by Intimidation,' it was a VERY helpful book with the 'Mental aspect' of the game!

My tournament record is public knowledge, but, my gambling record is NOT, even Artie's prowess in that area is pale in comparison to mine!

SJD. It seems almost like you are a little jealous of Bill and CJ. I hope you get these feelings that you have inside worked out soon. Jealousy can bring you down really quick.....both mentally and physically.

SJD can't do that, he has a hard case of "THE CJ" stuck inside his head that will probably last as long as he is above grass!:(

There is no cure for "THE CJ"! The only way to get a hold of and understand This type of dilemma is to increase ones "IQ". And in the case of SJD, this may be next to impossible if he doesn't embrace "THE CJ" with an open heart and mind!

Seems to be the truth. mr3cushion accomplished a lot more than SJD ever did on a billiard table, as an instructor, and an author. He never worked a day in his life outside of billiards... not a bad way to fly ;)

Nobody at 1P.org has any problem with his post, and a few thank him for providing info they don't have, nor many others. The only person to post negatively was Tramp Steamer, and since SJD is banned from 1P, I'm sure Tramp's just a tool for SJD to swing anytime he wants there....

Then they play "tag" and SJD runs here to post here, and he gets the same reaction, nobody really cares except Tramp, go figure :rolleyes:

Time to let this shit go either way. 3cushion is banned from here, SJD is banned from there. Maybe a play date is in order ;)
