June 16-18, Champion of Champions Fight Night 014 Frost v Pagulayan

You should buy CJ's new DVD TOA - Touch of Alcohol before watching, that may help :grin-square:

I consider Danny Smith to be the world's best one pocket money player, he's constantly in action and isn't afraid of anyone, and has over a 50% win ration playing huge money matches. Alex and Scott are two of the greats of course, but neither are in constant action to be considered the world's best. Also, there isn't a WPA World One-Pocket Championship.

The DCC Championship is the de facto world championship .

Just about a week away

If you are planning on attending in person, get your VIP seat reserved now!!
They are very limited. They will only have about 40 total and they are already going.

Alex Pagulayan made THE BEST 8 & OUT of ALL TIME, while in New Orleans, playing Scott Frost and spanked him severely.

Scott Froost will have his ears pinned back and will probably be in his best one pocket mode, EVER.

Alex will be poised to give another spanking.

It will be interesting to see who will win this EPIC match. Unfortunately for Scott, if he wins it, he still won't be considered the world's best one pocket player because he recently lost to Alex in New Orleans. Still, SF has plenty at stake and will come with everything he's got.

BIG CHEESE IS ON THE LINE!

It is not really fair to say based on the outcome of this one match the winner is the worlds best.
But the winner will be the Champion of Champions Fight Night One Pocket Champion and that title will be open to anybody in the world that would like to take a shot at the title.
I think the list of players wanting to challenge the winner will be a very short list imo
This will be a Epic match if you like one pocket dont miss this one !!

Scott posted on FB that he was going to tame the LION in Vegas.

I'm in the Lion's corner....see sig line.

But Scott is bringing something to this fight.
He knows more shots, although Alex keeps learning them as Scott uses them.
...remember that Scott beat the Dipster giving him a big spot....
....Alex lost giving David slightly less.

So it will come down to Scott's greater knowledge as a one pocket specialist....
....to Alex's superior stroke.

The heart of both antagonists is without question.

hmm

Both players have played for tons of money. Both players are One Pocket champs. However, Alex has been on a roll lately and its gonna be tough to beat him. I think Scott moves a little better but Alex doesn't miss as often (which is saying a lot). If Scott plays his usual aggressive game then he might get toasted. I think Scott is gonna have to play a lock up style game and be really conservative in order to beat Alex.

Stay away from the one-armed bandits, Terry.
....I understand they got a lead pipe cinch on us.

...just one more hundred and that's it...:banghead:

I don't know. I would think the guy that's not spending his free time telling everyone how focused he is, might just be a little more focused.

Alex continues to amaze me, Lion really is an appropriate nickname for him with his heart

I'm saying at this moment in time he is the single best money player in the world, his combined all around game, experience and heart is ridiculous,

at this moment, I'd take him over the other big dogs like Shane and Dennis in a long set
