Does anyone know where and on what days the tournaments are and/or where to get a game. Bartable 8-ball, 8' or 9' nineball, onepocket, any info appreciated. Thanks
 
There are tourneys every night except Sundays. Three of the Fast Eddie's have tourneys different nights of the week. There are a ton of bar box tourneys all over the city. Too many to list.
Coach's Corner, a local bar, has a tight 9' Diamond and a couple of Diamond bar boxes. I believe their weekly tourney is on Thursday night. The place is good for some inexpensive action from late afternoon on. John Vargas, the owner, is a big sponsor and supporter of pool in SA. This is where Rob Saez hangs out when he's in town.
G Cue Billiards and Dart Supply on West Ave. just installed a 10' Diamond, a couple of 9's and a couple of Diamond 7's this last week so it's seeing a lot of action lately. Luis, the owner, is a nice guy. He'd be happy to help you with any local tourney info you need when you hit town.

I may have to drive down just to play on a 10' diamond. Thanks for the info!
 
Fast eddies has 4 tourneys a week. Tuesday - FE on Braun. Friday - Culebra. Sat - Embassy Oaks. Sun - Perrin beitel (now called eddies tavern.). Tues and fri go well every week. The embassy location does not have a tourney when there is a big boxing or UFC. Tournaments all start at 8. 11$ entry, 1$ into break pot, race to 5 and 4 nine ball Bca rules, winner breaks. Sun it's race to 4/3.

As for action. I can set up 5 a game up to few hundred a set. Any game mentioned.
