Older Scruggs

I have an older Scruggs that I am thinking about parting with. I dont know how old it is, but have been told it is around 40 or so years old. I have 2 original shafts for it. Both are 13mm and in great shape. I havent had the cue weighed since I bought some years ago and I do not remember what it was. I know it was atleast 19. The cue is in great shape minus the little pinhole blemish in the clear coat on the butt, a little scratch in the butt cap that can be buffed out, and normal bluing in the shaft from use. Rolls straight together and apart. Let me know your thoughts. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice old cue plain Jane I'd say it's in the 1200 range

This cue looks like a mid 80's, based upon the logo.....Nick Serdula.....Bob Frey....could either of you date this cue.....value should be more than $1200......Scruggs cues are always in demand, especially player designs and older Scruggs like this one........unless there's flaws.....add at least another $300 - 500 to that earlier estimate if you are looking for a starting price.......and that might be a tad low......$1200 is like trade value or dealer wholesale pricing in my opinion.......Nick and Bob are the best experts on the Forum for Scruggs cues.
