Hi Folks,

Just made my reservations for the 2016 SBE. The dates are listed on the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center calendar as April 13th through April 17. The Oaks Hilton Gardens is not sold out but wants nearly $1000 for the four nights. Hampton Inn in Oaks is sold out. My reservations are at the Best Western and the Motel 6 in King of Prussia. Depends on if my travelling companion is going or not. BW is $500 for the four nights. Motel 6 is $330. Both for two queen beds. See you'all there!

Already?? The other one just ended LOL

We stayed at a Hilton this past one, maybe 15 mins away in a nice small suite with wife and 2 kids, had a great time there. They even had a pool table in the lobby that was not in horrible shape, my son spend a lot of time on that table hehe. Cheaper than the hotels offered at SBE site which were sold out of the lower rate rooms anyway. And we were right next to some nice seafood place and 1/2 mile from a mall.

Dude the motel 6 is a filthy cess pool. I made the mistake one night of thinking what's the big deal. It was smoke and disgusting. Even the non smoking rooms. The best western was nice. We stayed there last year.

The Hilton Garden and Hampton Inn are the two closest hotel to the convention center. That hotel has shuttle bus service. So, I wonder if SBX already booked the entire place for their vendors?

I stayed there this year again, and its a great hotel. In years past I booked it in August/September and my non-pool playing friends thought I was obsessed.

Plenty of decent Hotels in Horsham area if you don't mind the 25 minute drive.

T,

Always book the Motel 6 as a back-up. Had to stay there a few times. You're correct. It is somewhat sleazy. As I only sleep there, don't require too much. Best Western was nice with an excellent breakfast bar. Stayed at he Comfort Inn a few times. As they don't seem to be able to correctly book the room I request, I've stayed away. Best Western has the easiest entry and exit to Dekalb Pike and US 422. Highly recommended.

That's what I thought but it was even to gross for that lol I felt I needed a shower after taking a shower. It felt like I was sleeping in an ash tray and I'm not someone who complains about smokers.
