Carlo replaced by Bubwit chua?

What happened to carlo, he was supposed to be in world pool masters. Now it shows Johann chua . Love the way the young gun plays and is a great replacement.just curious... Bubwit is definitely going to go deep. With ko, shane, bubwit, daz, Niels, and liu, it will be a great year at the masters. Honorable mention to mora and shaw. Morra. Has been playing a lot abroad which has stepped up his game tremendously. Shaw will be an interesting watch . Always a contender on the east coast but the format will make it tricky... holding serve is critical. Safes are key and mistakes will make for an early exit. Can't wait to see!

Well good thing about the Masters is that it pays all players at least $2K just for showing up. But I suppose that may be just enough to pay for their airfares , hotel
But the format of single elim ( without group or DA stages) makes it less appealing and less prestigious . Each match is just 1 set -race to 8- hardly enough to decide better player
That probably explains why this tourney has been won many times by non- 1 tier pros like Karol, Drago, Lely, Hundal
