Good article but as i read it I found myself hearing Cheech Marin narrating. Also if he was born in54 he wasn't a teenager in the late 70's.

Did Efren see any of that $500k from the IPT?

Thorston did get his $250k for winning the first IPT tournament. But I believe by the 3rd or so tournament they were only handing out IOU's and the tour went bust within another 6-12 months.
