Who's this game for?

So the game is 8 ball, the handicap is this.
If I run out (you still have 7 balls on the table minus any balls made on the break) the I have to run the remainder or balls and you automatically are on the 8 ball. Now If i manage to do this "or win" (haven't decided yet) that game pays double.

My question to you more experienced action players is
Who does this game benefit the most?
Do you give this game to a weaker player or does this sound like a game to ask for?
Can two equally matched players play this game?
Or does this just sound like a crazy game (although i'm not sure how much more crazier than a dippy spot this sounds but hey)

This kind of sounds like spotting somebody the 8 ball. Player A has to run stripes then solids or vice versa. Player B only has to make the 8 ball. Player A may get ball in hand after the break.

Its kind of a gaffy game. Its almost a trap because whoever gets the spotted the 8 has a lot of traffic to deal with and will probably have to jump or kick to win. On the other hand the person doing the spotting cant miss unless they miss safe and still has to run out.

don't let the spot distract you, remember it's still a regular game if you don't run your set. Also, it only count if the other player doesn't make a ball. Because of the ball in hand it also does not make much sense for the other player to "not" want to make a ball just so that you have more to run. I think this is a good game but I just can't figure out where it works best.

I used to play my dad like this, he can shoot straight , but doesn't play more than once in a while, weak C type:

He had to make 3 balls and the 8.

I had to make all of mine, then whatever he had on the table in order from lowest to highest numbers, then the 8.

When I beat him at that i had him shoot 2 of his and the 8.

I think your game is too easy for the better player. With so few balls on the table it's hard to miss if you can shoot at any of them. That's why I made mine rotation for the other players balls. On a 7 foot table it's a good game. Never tried it on a 9 foot.
