Just ordered a Mezz cue with the WX700 shaft. I have been shooting with a OB 131 cue with the Classic + shaft for over a year now. Really like the feel and hit of the OB. I just wanted to try something new. Are there any of you guys out there that can comment on how the Mezz shaft plays compared to the OB. My OB has a Kamui Black Soft tip on it. The Mezz shaft will have the same tip installed on it. Thanks. Michael

Basically deflection's about the same except i feel that the Wx700 hits stiffer and you get alot more cueball action with lesser effort especially for longer shots which you need more power, mezz seems more reliable in that aspect.
I will advice you to try out the hybrid pro 2 , stiffer hit than wx700 and even lower deflection before making ur choice :)

Gd luck w whatever you choose :)

I agree with what Cezars comments were, but I feel the Classic+ hits way
way stiffer but not as much feel. Thats what you get though, there's always
a trade off, stiffer the hit the less feel you get in my experience ..

Well I'd be surprised if the deflection is equal to or less than the OB, from my own experience its noticeably more than a 314-3. Not sure why you made a change, all I know is that I don't reccomend it. Changing the butt of your setup is one thing, but changing shafts takes a while to adjust to properly. As someone who has made changes over the last 2 years, I wish I hadn't stick with what feels right and master it.

sinceyou already bought the mezz
how about you tell us your experience after you get the cue??
then you will know the real answer for you
and we can see how it compares to the comparisons made by others
evryones opinion is right for them but maybe not for you
like asking which is the prettiest girl in the line up?
you would probably get different opinions
some you may agree with others you may not

Just wanted to post what I think about my new Mezz. I love it. The hit has more feedback to me than the OB. Still has a firm hit like the OB. I also find that I get more action on the cue ball. Still adjusting my stroke for that. It also took a little to get used to the smaller tip. Out of the LD shafts I've used OB 1+,OB Classic+, Predator 314-2 and now the Mezz WX700 I now have the shaft with the feel and hit that I love. It's Mezz for me. Thanks. Michael
