Here is my new B/J.
It was built to my specifications, using partially my own wood. That wood was originally intended to be used for knife making. Good thing is, I have quite some more of it.
The cue features a purple heart shaft with (a rather thick) 13.5mm and a samsara BJ-tip.
The butt is rather thin (under 31mm) and is made out of ebony and brazilian rose-wood burl. The rosewood is stabilized and cored.
The cue is made by Sven Schmidt, a cuemaker from Germany. Great guy to work with. Tried it out yesterday. The hit is superb. It has the "click" of a very stiff cue, typical for the dense purple heart shaft.
