A guy overseas wants to buy my case he wants me to ship it to his buddy in the USA. My question is when his buddy in the US receives the case and confirms there's no problems and the money is in my paypal, do i have to wait until it goes overseas or am i cleared.What i'm trying to say is if something goes wrong with the case am i responsible thanks.

you know this is a great forum with lots of good info and we all try to type the best way we can.But there's always a moron that has to make stupid remarks thanks.
 
The safest bet is to specify in written communication, like email, what the terms are. Make it clear that your obligation ends at getting it to the friend.

I would avoid this sale if I were you, there's always another buyer waiting in the wings somewhere else anyway. This is very true.......unless the buy is a reputable member here. Maybe he/she will chime in here in this thread.

You spew your hatred and anger out on everyone here........this might be because you aren't married and have no wife or pets to take your frustrations out on. The man was asking a question about a sale and you chime in about punctuation marks. If you are so worried about that go to a grammar forum not a billiard forum.
 
This transaction may be totally legit - but it raises enough red flags that I agree with the previous poster that it is not worth it. It is no different from the Craigslist scam where they pay you via Paypal and then send someone to get it. They file a non-receipt of item with Paypal and get their money back. You have no proof that the actual buyer received the item.

Meh. When I can't tell what a person is asking, I'm going to point it out. Sorry I don't molly coddle the thin-skinned.

We are utilizing written language. If someone is too lazy to make his point clear, maybe he shouldn't use the written language. I'm tired of this 'everybody gets a prize' attitude. I live in a world where if a person screws up it gets pointed out. I'll let people like you make the lowest common denominator feel good about themselves.

That would be an acceptable argument if it weren't the case that you're clearly doing this sort of thing to make yourself feel good. Truth be told, I'd probably find myself agreeing with many of your points if there wasn't such a thick layer of arrogance and smugness smeared over everything you post. You're clearly a sharp guy but your very transparent need to assert your intellectual superiority over everyone on a pool forum really shows your hand as kind of a sad dude, or at the very an least extremely bored one. I might suggest a higher-brow outlet for you such as perhaps a group of Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts or a book club where everyone drinks tea and wears fancy hats.

I am arrogant. I am extremely proud of my accomplishments and knowledge because I have worked very hard for them.

I find it funny that people get so bent out of shape by me telling them that they should take the time to make their post understandable. Clearly the OP has that capability, he did it in his replies.

I have an engineering background. Exactness of language is paramount because things cannot be misinterpreted or it costs money, time and maybe causes injuries or death.

This forum is about exchanging ideas and information. I find it insulting that someone asks me for my advice and won't take the small amount of effort to write a legible question.

As far as doing this to make myself feel good...I do enjoy reading this forum and I enjoy helping others with questions.

If you can't handle my style of doing that, feel free to hit that ignore button or report me.

I absolutely hope that people tell me in no uncertain terms when I have done something stupid.

I also expect people to treat me like a man who can take criticism. I don't need to be patted on the back for mediocrity.

I'm sure that your mod status will carry a lot of weight with the mods on this site, feel free to report me.
 
Hey. We are all individuals of differing personalities. But you come off a little salty. I think WE ARE telling you now. Multiples have spoken. Thats all it should take.

And FYI, I turned down modding this forum. It was discussed. So feel free to power play me. :)
