TAP nationals Nashville: NOV 4th-8th

Tap live stream

Sorry but due to prior commitments, the final matches running late and coupled with a 9+ hour drive back home I had to cut out early and could not live stream the finals. My apologies to the TAP members.

Our team had a great time at the TAP Nationals in Nashville. It was my first time to participate. We met lots of great people from all over Canada and the US. My thanks to the organizers from TAP for putting together a first class event. The Diamond BB tables were in great condition. We never noticed any roll out even on very slow shots. It was my first time playing with Cyclops balls. They play a bit different than Aramith, but are just as much fun. In four days, I never heard anybody complain about the equipment. Seating was a bit crowded, but we managed. The tournament organizers did a good job of maintaining rules and order while letting people play and have fun.

TAP Nationals

Thanks for the feedback. Players do not realize what goes into pulling these events off. The scheduling, costs, dealing with the venue and everything that comes up unexpected has to be dealt with. TAP tries to give the best to their members from equipment, welcome party, goody bags for each player, minis, and all of the events. Sometimes all we hear are the complaints (no matter how small they may be) and not how the event went overall. I heard very little if any complaints on my end. The Gaylord resort was over the top on everything. Prices were a bit high but that can be expected in a venue such as this. Great places to eat were close by and downtown Nashville was a hit with everyone. Now on to Charleston S.C for our 2016 nationals.

Sam,

Nashville is a great town to visit. Short of Las Vegas, the Gaylord Opryland, and surrounding area, might have been the best TAP Nationals location yet.

Well Scott, I see you and I are the same TAP skill level. How much are we playing a set for?? :)

You posted this after I started driving down. Today is the first I've been on AZ since. We can play in April if you're going to SBE.

No problem, I had issues with my phone anyways once I crossed the border. We may put a dream team together for the expo, if I attend I'll certainly be in touch. Hope you had a good one, I'm sure we crossed paths at some point but didn't know who I was looking for anyways.

I thought about you for a minute on Saturday night. Finished watching some buddies play and went to dinner. You'd have whooped my ass this weekend... I played like shit.

lol.. our drivers car blew a head gasket as we approached the border, we got a rental and didn't arrive until 11:30 Wednesday night. After that drive we decided a few tequilas were in order, that turned into an all-niter of drinking and the round robin was literally a blur. Couple pounds of chicken wings in the afternoon and some Advil, things quickly turned around. :)

I ended up at Job's billiards and got into action for around 6 hours. I may have whooped your ass Saturday but Wednesday you would have been stealing, I couldn't hit water if you tossed me off a boat. Next time, it's on. Cheers
