They did quite well together in the ob challenge taking down busti and effrin. Being on the ob roster together for some time I imagine they are comfortable with each other and their styles.

No -- with 5 players on a team, the number of possible doubles teams is 10, but the number of doubles matches is fewer than 10.
Mike and Corey played in and won the big 8-ball challenge match against Busty and Efren. They meshed extremely well in that match, Corey's calm demeanor at the table was the perfect temper for Mike's tensed up style.
That is absolutely the best partnering for both of those players.
Here we go. USA wins the lag.
USA pockets a ball on the break and pushes out. USA loses defensive battle when Corey misses a jump and leaving the 4-9 combo for Europe win.

That 3-4 position was absolutely horrible but he made a great runout after that.

I think it's a great pairing. The unorthodox shot maker combined with the best long ball shot maker. Dechaine isn't going to be bothered with anything Corey leaves him with.
5 ball was behind the 8 causing a slight problem but Mike ran out anyway. 2-2
