Cue lathe for sale with accessories

First, my post was in response to the fact that Dick asked you where it was located, and you hadn't answered it. You stated where you would bring it, which is different. It seemed dodgey, Couple that with you have only recently joined and few posts, it made some people wonder as this is usually how JF and some other scammers work. I apologize if I was wrong, but considering what keeps happening here, I'd rather apologize for being wrong then to hear of another guy getting scammed.
Secondly, I was a potential buyer, and was wondering where it was located also, as my daughter will be coming home this coming week from upstate NY, and could have swung by to pick it up if it was close enough.
Congrats with the sale, enjoy the weekend.

He's definitely not Forney. I was the escrow he had in mind, I know him and will verify he's not a scammer.

What he meant by "well-known" is "has lots of iTrader"

The lynchmob should really rein it in. Lathe is paid for and he is shipping it out soon. I will keep you all updated since there is a vested interest in this transaction.

There is no lynch mob here concerning this transaction.

Unfortunately, for the time being, new people who fit a certain profile will be suspect here until they reveal much more about themselves than the OP did.

I'm sure if the positions were reversed the OP would want to take vigorous measures to protect himself too.

To the OP- I'm glad you were able to sell your lathe; it seemed like a great deal for someone. But when you post right in the middle of a firestorm of controversy such as you did, some skepticism is to be expected.
Everyone was (is) being hyper vigilant because of this thief operating out of your general area. I think you were aware of this. Perhaps if you had been more forthcoming about your identity things would have played out differently.

There is no reason to knock sales.
That's improper.
If somebody doesn't want to buy from someone, so be it.

There are pretty simple rules to follow as a buyer.
Not sending cash, check or money order are first on the list.

I can see that your own needs are your number one priority but perhaps you can look a little deeper.

Some people who have been here a bit longer tend to look out for others, too.
If you cannot figure what all the fuss was about in light of recent events, I simply don't know what to say.

If people came forward to warn me of a potential risk in a transaction, I would thank them for the information, then investigate and reach my own conclusions, then, regardless of the outcome, thank them again. But that's just me.

Again, I'll mention that were the situation reversed, I'll guess you would be grateful for the input.

I'm glad your sale worked out well for everyone concerned.

I wouldn't outright accuse someone of being Jeff Forney. I wouldn't knock someone's sale.

People can act any way they choose, but I don't have to condone it either.

It's over and I'm done here.

Good Seller

I am in the middle of a small trade deal with Cueenvy, and I have to say he has been very professional thus far. Just good business.

I was a little apprehensive because he has 0 itrader, and because of all the things that seem to happening more and more on AZ.

After seeing the way he conducts business I would not hesitate doing more business with Cueevy.

Just thought I would share.

Best,

Bryan Page

And that is great, but there has been a call out on here for better protection and that is what I saw here. It was worked out quickly and no harm was done.

I don't see a need to get offended for that sort of thing.

Every single day someone gets scammed by some piece of crap getting something for nothing. Hard working folk taken advantage of.....

If offending an honest person, who is usually absolved quickly, here and there stops one of these assholes......so be it.
