What's Your Pool Hall's "Deal"?

In the burbs - eight hours for eight dollars, 11-7 or 7-close
In the city - free pool from 9-11 pm on Wednesday nights, no other deals

Had a pool room in Louisville, Ky. that had dollar nights on Tuesday and Thursday.....

1 dollar per person per hour and one dollar for draft beer.

Corner Pocket Billiards
Just south of Ulmerton Rd on Starkey Rd - Largo, Florida

They have $5.00/Hr for the regular stiffs walking in off the street
with a happy hour thing where you can play pool and drink beer per hour as well

$3.00/Hr for league players
$25.00/Month for anyone to come in an play anytime they want from 11:00am to 7:PM every day. Which is what I prefer. Very very good deal IMO.

10 Big "G" Gandy 9-footers. One of which is double-shimmed and another that is triple-shimmed for one-pocket delight.

Come get you some.

This seems like bad business? Unless the league players drink like fish every time they're there.

How is Chris's I have not played there yet?

Here's a couple of pics of Chris's for you Jay.....and btw, that left-handed guy that you see playing in the second pic, is a local 'fish' by the name of...Patrick Johnson...:eek:...:thumbup:

It's an old school 2nd floor walk up in a kinda run down space. But it has 40+ 9-foot GCs, 2 9-foot Diamonds (mostly reserved for 1 pocket), a half dozen or so heated Verhoeven carom tables and even a full size snooker table. Lots of action available with players ranging from decent to dangerous. Lousy snack food, no booze, but a "real" pool hall atmosphere that welcomes players of all levels.

If you're in Chicago you have to play there at least sometimes.

Thanks for the information I may check it out this upcoming week

The Senior Center is free but asks for an annual donation. I usually give $100 per year.
They're open most week days from 9am-4pm.

Hard Times is $5.30 from 11am-5pm but I give them $10 or more if I eat or drink.

Match Up's in Fort Collins:

Mon-Fri you can play from opening to 3PM for flat fee of $3;
Mon evenings you can play from 5PM to close for flat fee of $5;
Sun is some sort of ladies day where you can pay something small like $1-$3? and play all day.

Other than the specials above, their day rate (until 6PM) is $3/hr/person.
