I've seen a lot of his cue but never had the chance to play with one. I know it's subjective but how would you say this cue hits/plays? Is there another maker you could compare it to.

I remember hitting this cue when he brought it to Rochester, NY about a year and a half ago. I remember because the wrap really stood out. This is a solid cue, from a solid cue maker. I want him to make me a six pointer at some point.

This cue is close to 4 years old . I had it made by Steve and had lomax do the wrap at SBE in 2013. I traded it later that year to Shane Jackson when I was in Mississippi for ultimate ten ball tournament. All of his cues from that time play great. Very stiff and true.
