To the Abe Rich fans out there, and to that era, I picked up a cue that to me, looks like either an Abe Rich or his cousin's work. It has a 5/16" x 14 tpi joint pin, with brass joint. It has a pearlized section about .750" long at the end of the cue. The wrap is very well preserved and isn't loose at any point. Any help is great, but really need the help of those that are very proficient with the above mentioned people's work. Joint is .832 and the butt end is 1.332"

The butt rolls very straight with very slight wobble at the joint, the shaft has a middle wobble, but not bad considering that it maybe about 40 - 45 years old. Too me, it looks like an Abe Rich cue, but not sure.

I think Mr. Rich used a 5/16x18 joint screw. Is that brass screw 5/16's or .302. Other makers that used that screw, possibly. Paradise, Doc Fry?
 
Thanks Mike, it has a brass 5/16 x 14, I just screwed a new insert on to it to make sure. The butt length is 28" and the shaft is 29" not counting the pilot, which is .378" long. A buddy of mine had a cue that had a brass 5/16 x 14 pin that was ID'd as an Abe cue so that's why I thought this one was too.

Any idea as to the age? I have found pics of similar cues from Abe, and am convinced it's one of his, but would like to know the age of it.
