Will I need to lawyer up to get my refund from French?

I paid for the full 4-day pass to the Shane/Dennis match.

Or will my paypal acct just get credited?
 
If it doesn't automatically come back, paypal has a way to dispute charges.
 
Unless Mr French is getting out of the pool business altogether, I'd imagine he'll make it right. Would be awfully short-sighted to rip off the people who are going to be purchasing your future events.
 
I sent a request for a refund with paypal because it was
cancelled. I just received a reply that I have been refunded my money.
It also says that if you paid with a credit card, it may take up to 30 days to show up. Which I did pay with a cc.

So I would suggest you go to paypal and request a refund.

Once it is confirmed for good that no match will happen, I guess I will do this also. I'm sure the match won't happen for 100k, but I would still watch it if it happens (provided what they are playing for is accurately disclosed).

After the last event and then what happened with this one, there arent going to be many of those people.
 
I paid thru paypal and it was taken from my bank acct.

I've never disputed a paypal charge before. It had me sending a message to "Marketing"(French) requesting a refund and I will have to wait for his reply.

Same here. Just got the refund.
 
I also requested a refund and haven't received any confirmation yet, I'll check again later. I almost feel like I don't deserve one, I swore after the last one I wouldn't purchase anything french related but just couldn't deprive myself of this match.So I caved.

It's being refunded to my paypal balance. Although my current paypal balance amount doesn't reflect that yet. Probably takes a day I guess.
 
I signed a contract saying I would pay John French half of all PPVs I watch for 10 years. What now?

As has been said PayPal will protect your purchase but sheesh give it more than 25 minutes before you lawyer up, no?
 
Probably screwed over enough people if you pool the entirety of claims would go class action haha.
