PM me it's going to be 225 each or 400 for both.
So are you asking $225 for 1 cues worth of wrap ???
I'm very confused how can something be the same as something its not ???
And i've never seen any cue waraped in anything that thick except maybe the old hoppe cues with the mile thick leather.
Here's the real information if you want to talk facts:
Cortland Line Diameters
#9 is 0.025" diameter.
#12 is .031" diameter.
Both #9 and #12 were widely used on vintage cues.
The #15 Cuttyhunk is 0.0075 wider than Cortland #9.
The #15 Cuttyhunk is 0.0015 wider than Cortland #12 which is just 4 percent wider than the #12 that was most widely used. Can you tell a 4 percent difference in diameter??? YOU have good eyes.
Cuttyhunk is more tightly weaved than Cortland or Penn. I say #9 Cuttyhunk a few months ago and it's too thin to use imo. Their 12 is essentially #9 diameter and the #15 essentially #12. The "#" is a measure of thread count, not diameter. Manufacturers had differences in diameters.
The line sold in under 24 hours and the buyer is very happy.
The #12 I'm getting in tomorrow is premium, super clean#12.....it's going to make somebody very happy.
It does seem to be a bit steep...I wouldn't pay that much, especially if there isn't way to prove authenticity other than it's on a spool with a label. JMO though. If someone wants to pay it, then....

Well either your calipers are off or something and you dont understand what the hell cuttyhunk is.
As far as knocking goes if pionting out miss information is part of that then please report it , however i never said it was bad.
If some other cuemaker can post about .030" blue mountain i'll apologize to you.
.
John....Cuttyhunk means it's made of twisted flax. It's not a brand per se. What I sold and what I'm getting in are the right stuff. For you to knock my sale saying the line isn't the same size as the Blue Mountain line is unfair. It's clear by direct measurement and just looking at them that they are the same diameter.
Cortland line diameters
#9 is 0.025
#12 is 0.031
#15 0.034
I measured mine at 0.0325 and Blue Mountain at 0.0310 before I even found the above reference measurements (which I confirmed at 2 sources). So you are right John the line is 0.0015 bigger. ...you must put those precut inlays in with a microscope!
So again I'll ask you to stop knocking my listing.
