John Barton's exercise routine video

You obviously don't know how to keep score. Here, let me help you:

Lou: $10,000.00

John: $0.00

Lou Figueroa
we have plenty
of clocks in St Louis
(even have a guy
called watchez)

Chump change. Flipped a tip to you and your 37 partners. You didn't win 10k, you won a small portion of 10k. I bet my own. Something you wouldn't do if you had a game with Helen Keller. I was willing to play from the first time I challenged you 15 years ago. You have been scared the entire time. Even when I came St. Louis back in the early 2000s you flat out ducked me.

The score is John's not a nit and John is offering to double the bet. The other side.....well they ain't showing up. I might go to St. Louis to play you but you are scared to bet 20k and I am betting your "backers" are too.

Anyway it's all academic, you can't play, you're a super nobody who beat another super nobody. Neither of us has the secret to playing good pool. We are both amateurs who like to have a good time, at least I like to have a good time. You seem to be in internal agony when you play or practice.

As evidenced by the video I enjoy pool in all aspects. All you have ever done is drag pool down.....I build it up.

The ankle biting is strong in this one.

With Lou for sure. I have 20k to bet. You are more than welcome to drive to OKC and post your 20k alongside mine and you have 30 days to get Lou to the table or you forfeit the money.

John, here's any idea to lose a few more kilos, note down which of those shots you used CTE on.

Otherwise, monkey sees monkey shoots for PSR works perfectly!

You all must be bored today.

it's running around a pool table not walking.

Nitpicking something silly and fun like this is a sign of ............................. I don't know what.......just not really worth the effort.

John, continue to enjoy life. You can clearly give some of the posters here the 7 in that

I originally posted this as a jab at John, but more a thumbs up to his training centre. It's really sad how people are vindictive on the net for no other reason than jealousy.

I have a JB Case and it's great. I enjoy John's input here because he gives as good as he gets. But it's sad to see AzB being used for personal attacks. Really guys get a life... and John if you read this don't bite and keep up the good work.

Arranging to cheat and be coached by an open level player during our match was definitely building up pool. Way to go. Chump change... but you had to cheat, lol. I guess that's the way things are in your bizzaro world. Like my being willing to play you again for $10K somehow means I'm scared. oh well.

I'll try and keep your soul safe, John. Those pickle jars are pretty stout. If you ever want it it's a short drive ;-)

No cheating. The video is all there for anyone to see. If I had been coached you would have lost easily.

EASILY.

E A S I L Y.

Instead I played like a donkey for the first several games while my adrenaline was spiking and then I calmed down and played a little closer to what I can do but was still not playing good.

I literally played the worst one pocket of my life and yet you couldn't crush me.

And yeah I pumped up the match for 6 months we had 2000 viewers and the videos are getting lots of views on YouTube. So yes, I pumped up pool.

You and your cronies had to play mind games to mess with me. I think you probably had ten people enlisted to mess with me leading up to the match. Doesn't matter, I dogged it and I know why.

So I flipped you 10k which was made up within a few weeks. And yes it stings to lose 10k but as I said I got way more than that out of the marketing and I did write it off as an EXPENSE. The fact that it took people prodding you and you had a little crew playing head games is the real "cheating". But if you want to continue this I can file a 1099 for you and let you explain to the IRS what you did with the 10k of income you continue to claim publicly. I am going to go out on limb and bet that neither you nor your crew claimed any of that money as extra income as you are legally required to do......In fact I will bet $100 that you didn't. Easy to win $100 just show us your tax return where you claimed it. You're so "honest" I am sure it's there and I will lose again.

I did everything to accommodate you. Your favorite table, pocket size you wanted, we were nice to you. I faded all your BS. The only thing you and crew screwed up on was not accepting my offer to DOUBLE THE BET the four times I offered it going into the match.

Instead you tried to high roll me days before the match and we decided to leave it at 10k because by then we wanted to invest in something else and also I didn't think you deserved a shot at more money because of your shady tactics.

So that's what was.

Now the only thing in front of us is that I want to bet 20k and I made you a great offer to come and play for it and you're scared. Get on the phone and ask Mouthy Mike Liesomemore to back you. He probably hates it that you won't come and take more money from me. I could have told him how temperamental his horse is. I would have said Mike he is only good for one race....he won't run again.

But I will make you the same offer I made before. If you come and play 10 ahead for 20k and I win then I will post the 20k again and GIVE YOU A BALL in another 10 ahead set. And if I win that set I will give you TWO BALLS and post 20k again.

So now tell us all how your feelings were hurt and how you need a safe space to play in. Lets hear all the excuses now why you won't come to play.

I play even worse one pocket than I did three years ago. You are the worst example of heart in a pool player that has ever existed. All the people in California and St. Louis who know you know this to be a fact. Your fictional stories of walking into pool rooms looking for action and everyone being afraid of you have been debunked a dozen times. I walk into a pool and look for action and they form a line and put in applications and have a bidding war to see who gets to play me. You walk in and ten people ask you play within minutes and suddenly you have an appointment.

But when you write the trip report you say you got a table and no one approached you for hours until you had to leave. So save the embellishments and your fictional fantasy.

When you decide that you're not scared you know where to find me. Pretty sure my money is safe though as it's far easier for a player to run a rack in a minute than it is for you to find some heart.

Thanks man. I know why you posted and I really thought that the video hadn't uploaded yet.

This training center is going to be great. The last week we had several people come in and work on their games. One of them is a local good player - better than me - who just needed another pair of eyes to help him see how he was locking himself into only certain patterns and not considering other routes. After a couple hours he came away with a better appreciation of different routes and why sometimes they are better for moving the cue ball.

Another guy is learning CTE and doing great, his arsenal of shots he isn't afraid to take and can make consistently has gone way up.

And another one has been learning to understand how the cueball moves with just speed instead of trying to rely on spin.

I love it because this activity forces me back to basics and has reinvigorated my desire to learn and get better. Now if I only had time to train..... :-)

Have to MAKE time.

The money is not the issue.

Besides what I'm willing to put up, I have had two people offer to back me for the whole amount -- $20K. And if I wanted to go another route, I could easily form any number of corporations of guys willing to put up $10K, $5K, $2K, and an endless number of $500 bettors.

And I have told them all no.

I don't care about the dough, it's about you coming to me after I went to you, end of story. The next time we play, if ever, will be in St Louis -- you will come to me, or no game, as I've already said numerous times: end of story.

Udderwise... your soul remains mine forever. Deny it all you want but we both know it's true ;-)

Great eulogy to John Barton. R.I.P.

Once in awhile say hello to the soul because it can get lonely in a pickle jar.

So you going to St. Louis or what? ;)

Has it been considered that JB and Lou played in a neutral location....
....Lou won.
Now he's making demands like he lost and wants a fair rematch on his grounds.

If I beat a man for ten Gs.....I don't think I would be playing hard to get.
...."You say you want a rematch in Angkor Wat....I'll be right there."

Perhaps he doesnt care about 10k. He is not going to travel again for it.

He already got John's soul in a pickle jar and if he wants it back the he has to go get it.

Okay, then how about YOU versus JB or Lou? :D

HAHAHA, I would love to see that. their is more pool knowledge in PT's little finger than both their games together.( No offence boys! )

Not interested in playing JB.....
...now, with Lou, I could show him how I could a take a loss without complaining....
....and I could show him how to take a win without rubbing it in.

I like what JB is doing for the game....I'd rather donate to his cause.

It was neutral but he was already going to be there to sell at the SBE, he choose the room, and I and my crew flew half way across the country to accommodate him.

Now he wants me to go to him again and play on his home track. meh, not happening.
