Hey Bandit, Think they might be holding off to see if some additional entries show up. Some of the Pro events look mighty thin. Get in tomorrow night. Going to the Rio for a few practice racks around 8 PM. Perhaps I'll see you there.

The stream is very choppy for me. How about you?

Want to check with you folks. The stream keeps hanging, lots of buffering - just about unwatchable. Is anyone else having this issue?
 
Sunday Freezing ?

I wonder if anyone else has trouble watching the US Open 8 -Ball and the picture keeps freezing and showing the circle of death, or is this on my end ? I have been having trouble the whole event with the picture freezing up, over and over. I have no trouble with any other streaming, and the other guys that use the same provider, I have no problem at all. This is frustrating to keep losing the signal and I am trying ti figure out if this is on my end, or if anyone else is having trouble with the stream ?? When I do a test on my internet, it comes back as showing I have quite a bit more then needed to watch the stream, but my picture keeps freezing... Sometimes it's every couple shots...

No matter what -It is your fault! That's what i always get-not that i bought this one- i got the warning.
 
The stream was not so good for me during the last match last night, but it has been fine so far today.

Deuel just had a 7-pack in beating Woodward. (I know, some don't think that's possible with alternating breaks. :wink:)

Next up -- SVB vs. Shane McMinn. 7 more wins in a row to the title!
 
I held out so far, but tomorrow I'm definitely buying the stream. I'm rooting for SVB, but should be good matches regardless.

SVB has to get past Francisco Bustamante to get to tomorrow. The match is scheduled to start on stream in about 8 minutes.
 
A squeaker of a win for SVB. Bustamante was running out for a hill/hill win when he missed his second-to-last stripe in the side. Shane leaped out of his chair, took a timeout, then came back and made a nice out for the win.

Shane led 7-4, but scratched on 2 of his last 3 breaks to let Francisco back in.

So ............ he has now won 7 matches in a row; can he win 4 more?

That was odd how Shane jumped up in celebration less than a second after the ball hit the point, and then jogged out of the arena while Busti is standing there stunned.

I thought so too but I also think he was truly surprised. He had already taken his glove off wrote the match off as a loss.

Love the stream but honestly can't stand listening to George or the other guy that's not Jay Helfert.

The stream is truly top notch, especially the camera work. The angles they get are nice.

Regarding the commentators, I usually just try to remember that no commentary team can please everybody. Every person has their favorites, and what may be very entertaining and insightful to one person may be nails on a chalk board to another. With that in mind I can tolerate just about anybody so long as they are actually focusing on the match, as opposed to talking about anything and everything but the match like some commentators do.
