Futrell wins 4th VA State 9 Ball Title
I know its been over a week since I have updated this thread. Work got in the way.
I wanted to congratulate Chris Futrell on his 4th VA State 9 Ball Title. Chris played phenomenal pool all weekend, came back from the 1 loss side to take the title.
I would also like to congratulate Shannon Fitch on finishing 2nd in his first VA State 9 Ball Tournament. He played well all weekend and was coming off winning the NC State 10 Ball title. He won the hot seat over Futrell but Chris caught a gear in his semi-final match to make it back to avenge to loss to Fitch.
I would also like to thank the 7 ladies who played in the event. We will keep trying to get to 16 and have your own bracket. Big congratulations to Jacki Duggan for the highest finish by a lady in the event!
I would also like to thank Diamond Billiards in Midlothian, VA for their continued support of my event. I would also like to thank Chris Renfro from Outsville for his support of the event with the Accu-Rack being the official rack of the tournament.
