Here is my home room

A 7" Diamond Smart table with tournament blue 860HR and a Winmau Blade 4 DC dart board. The room is only large enough for a barbox, so I went with a Diamond 7". The best table I have played on as I try my best to keep it clean and neat. A Diamond Single platter ball polisher peaking behind the table, under the TV. Not overwhelming like some of the rooms posted here but I love it.
A small 32" TV is there only to play Snooker when the games are on Eurosport

Diamond table AND Diamond ball polisher. Now that is a beautiful setup and combination! What ball set(s) is resting in the ball box or that you play with? Nice job!

Thank you for the kind words :o

I am using Aramith Tournaments in TV colours on my table. They've seen a fair share of use on my table, I will have to get another set later this year. Too many dings and scratches for my taste. My previous table pretty much ruined the set as the pockets had steel rivets inside the pocket facing. I initially thought that the balls would rarely make contact and that if they did, the rounded rivet head wouldnt do too much damage. I was wrong, apparently :(

About the lighting...

I dont care for that light at all. It makes shadows on the table when its dark around, it doesnt provide enough light even at the center of table, let alone the corners. I am currently trying to find a bettter lighting option for the table. Diamond light would be great but they are a bit pricey. LED panels are an option too, I just havent found a place where I could see the light in person. I usually dont like the colour of LED lights, they often seem unnatural and "heavy" to look at.
Any suggestions are more than welcome

The table itself plays extremely well. Once I find a solution to the lighting issue I will have pretty much perfect setup (9 footer would be awesome but thats not possible here :D)

I suggest you get out and have a gander at a led panel
With one of mine you won't have shadows with your size table
Nor will it be blinding, these are diffused
Plus they are pretty sharp looking
And a third of the the cost of a diamond light

This thread finally pushed me to do something about the light

Thanks to Beneath The Sur and his pictures posted I gave up on my fear of LED lights and ordered a 50W 1200mmx300mm LED panel from a finnish hardware store. Should arrive in the next 2 weeks, then I'll work something out to hang it over the table and I should be all set for a while :)
Sorry I couldnt buy it from you directly b_t_s but the shipping expenses and finnish taxes when buying overseas would tear my wallet in half if I bought one from you :frown:

I will post some new pics when I get the light set up ;)

its all good, i cant speak for the quality of the one you bought but i hope you enjoy

i atleast got some marketing in during the conversation

;)

and for some reason i was thinking finland was close to greenland
then it hits me o shit scandinavia!

yes i agree shipping would be crazy for one light

Not quite done yet, need to replace a couple windows and move the rest of my crap out once my shed is built. Contractor is starting tomorrow. I should have my internet extended out there tonight and a 55" Smart TV will be going in with Dish service once the area all cleaned out.

Stereo is a 60's Magnavox Astro Sonic console radio, the RCA inputs are the only part that really works well, but that is ok. For now I am using it wired to the headphone jack of a tablet, but I will be adding a Blue Tooth adapter via the RCA's.

9ft House of Lords, new K66 cushions, new Simonis 860HR in Tournament Blue. I bought this table from Jay Spielberg of A1 Billiards and he sent Josh Lee and his son to set it up, unfortunately Jay couldn't make the trip.

Josh said the original cushions were stamped March or May, can't remember, 1963.

Darwin's billiard table....probably thought survival of the fittest applied here also.

Apparently you bought a house. Congrats.

You asked what's missing?

First thing that popped into my head was ... (are the walls and attic insulated)? You mentioned it's a converted garage.

You need insulation when you climate control a space and many garages in Houston are not.

Looks nice

What needs added? I know I'm forgetting something, no better spot to ask then here. This was once the garage.

My room has no creature comforts other than pool, small sofa, 55" pull out swivel tv, golf game while waiting your turn, 40 game scoring beads, mini fridge, and a bathroom behind the door. And the plus thing it has its own entry door from outside! Keep my buddies out of the wives space!
