to the OP, nice list, but why not asking the ko brothers, cheng, albin, niels or wu? i can tell u, it doesnt matter, they all would answer something like this "shane is a awesome player, but its way to early to call him the best ever!"

Dont ya get it , pool is anybody's game, some days u play good some days u dont.
All pros can beat each other on any day but obviously the more consistent onez willl win more often.
Both Shane n Chang play at about the same speed with the exception that Shane has a stronger break but Chang has a stronger run out game.

In a race to 7 , if i play Shane 100 times , i might win 5-7 times but Shane's gonna beat me in more than 90 times.
In a race to 100, i have absolutely no chance.

Hope this broadens up your perspective !

Thanks for the laugh. It was a joke/sarcasm. All the nut huggers on AZB keep making a zillion threads about how Shane is the best player ever and how nobody will gamble with him playing rotation.

I have praised Chang's game in the past. I was there when he was down 17-15 vs Orcollo and ran at the set after a dry break by Orcollo at BCA Nationals.

what else do u think they would answer? even if one of those players thinks shane is the greatest ever who picked up a cue, do u really think they would say it? no way :grin:

imagine daz beats shane at next mosconi and in the interview after he says something like "im so happy, i just beat the greatest ever" sounds realistic, no?
