I've heard good things about zan tips and I'm interested in having one installed. Anybody have a place to recommend in the LA area (preferably on the west side) to get a zan tip and have it properly affixed?

You may want to ask Carlos Coll, of Coll Cues. He builds nice cues and does great repair work.
I will PM you his number....

Doesn't Oscar Dominguez sell Zan tips? Isn't he in the L.A. area?

That doesn't help on the installation, of course.

yes, I thought about him, but as you said I would need somebody to install it because I don't know how. I also don't have his contact info, but I'll probably just call Carlos as mentioned above.

I'm unhappy with the current tip I have. I have a cuetec r360 and I liked the original tip (I think it comes with an Everest), but the replacement I got is too hard and results in too many miscues. Good for breaking, but not much else. I have to constantly scuff it in order for it to hold chalk.

why dont you buy a bunch of the tips you like and ask a cue man to install it??
:confused::confused:

You can order Zan tips from Seberts.

Oscar is usually out of tips, unless you catch him at the right time. Facebook is the best way to check with Oscar, or Desiree.

They're getting married next month, so you had better ask quickly.

Have the Zan Premium Soft on my cue, and love it.

sounds like a good idea. I wasn't even sure where to find legitimate zan tips. Now I have some info. That is one of the reasons why this is still a good forum in my opinion
