Temporary corners for the pockets...

A sad day...My billiard table at the home hall is being lost. They have a snooker table that they plan to get temporary corners for, and that will be the billiard table moving forward. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of setup? Is it playable? Obviously I do not think it will ever be as good as a real table...but curious if I now need to travel for the billiards fix?
 
That's a shame, and in Oregon I thought billiards were doing very well


I have never tried the pocket inserts, and hope I won't have to

We have a few tournaments regionally, and a good group of guys who play, but I would not say doing real well. It's painful to have lost this table out of a Portland pool hall.
 
I was hoping for a miracle. Folks coming out of the woodwork proclaiming that these are much better than you'd expect, and almost play true...

I knew this would not happen, but I still was hoping for a miracle...:)
