It's been a interesting last week or so to say the least in my quest to learn one pocket .
As I have stated here before I'm trying to learn the game and I've made it my number one game ,,
Iv been fortunate enough to have a good mentor in Reggie Barksdale who plays me for 5 a game Tom Tom says I'm stealing getting getting lessons for 5 a game I agree but I'm learning by my mistakes , he's never shown me one shot it's watch learn and pay
And pay I have probably close to 300 down to this point ,

I had moments early where I hung tough but once he figured out my weaknesses it was months of thumpings that followed , but I never gave up go in take it on the chin and learn by trial error and error

So last week we play almost 5 hours he was a little off and I was a little on when the smoke cleared I was 2 games down played again a shorter time on Mon and won a whooping 5 ' felt like 500 really came back on wed , one guy asks to play and I said even oh no I can't play you even so I played another guy even who used to give me a ball and we broke even

Today I was closer to another place I play a younger guy who I've donated too playing even lost probably a 100 to him we battle back and forth he quits me 10 dollars down and says he won't play me anymore unless I bet something higher that my game is 20 dollar worthy ,
Never heard that when he was winning in fact what he said if I played for more I'd probably learn more ,, lol
When 15 whole dollars and now I'm a player lol

Reggie plays very well left handed. He use to call his alter ego lefty Joe. He used to ask if I needed lefty Joe to give me a hair cut. Lol Good times

That's funny he will call me and ask me if I need a trim , he don't play like he used too but ain't to many rushing to play him even , I feel lucky that he plays me one time he got off a bus and walked a mile back to play and he knows I'm not playing long most of the times a couple hours at most cause I have to pick my daughter up
