I noticed that I really needed to dial in where on the cueball I was hitting. Bad contact seems to be magnified on the Z shaft. Curious what others think though.
I use the Z3 most of the time. Used to use the z2. Z3 is a little more forgiving. When I don't feel as dialed in I'll switch to 314-3 that's at 12.5mm. The 314 is a dream after using a Z but I prefer the thinner shaft which calls for shooter to be more focused for sure.
I've never noticed any difference in how accurately I have to hit the cue ball.
After all I have the same curvature on all my tips so the contact point difference
should be minuscule. Certainly small enough that I can ignore it.
However I did notice the deflection is considerably less on the Z3 so you won't have
to compensate quite as much using it vs. the 314.
I much prefer the hit on the 314 but MUCH prefer the hit on a solid maple...
OK........lol.......had to say it......lol
