midwest billiard expo worth it?

I don't know much about the mid west billiards expo in Iowa this June, I'm not even sure if this is a annual event. I was asked if I was gonna play in it and honestly never heard of it until today. I did a quick google search and it seems like it would be cool. Any body got any info about this particular one? And would it be worth a 5-6hr drive????

Whose the promoter? I've only heard of the super billiards expo put on by the TAP league

It's a really fun tournament. I've gone the last couple of years and played in the 9 ball. The one pocket is top notch to watch. Last year Efren was playing all comers one pocket even for 25 a game. There are vendors not a huge amount but enough to check out some cues, accessories, and shirts.

I'm debating about this year. They are adding an extra day to the 9 ball which will start on Thursday night instead of Friday night so that adds to the expenses but if you haven't been it's a great event to play and sweat.

It's worth going to, just to see this great room. Randy & Jim are great owners & the action will keep you up all night...
